Recycling IT equipment is no longer about scrapping devices or diverting waste from landfill. IT recycling is about maximising financial yield, controlling and managing risk and ensuring the whole end-to-end process aligns to your business’s security framework.

ensuring customers receive a quality service, where they feel their data is secure with a trusted global partner who can guide them through the changing legal and environmental compliance issues associated with IT disposal.

OUR IT DISPOSAL PROCESS

  • Re-certify Ltd inventory asset request form is completed and returned.
  • Re-certify Ltd identifies buyback value and security specifications / accreditations required through our 500+ Global partners.
  • Once the buyback offer is accepted, a collection date is confirmed.
  • On the appointed date, our partner’s logistics team come onsite to collect the equipment and an asset transfer note, documenting the items collected is completed on departure.
  • Equipment is returned to the depot and checked in at our partner’s warehouse, a line-by-line asset check-in report is supplied back to you confirming all the assets match the inventory request form and asset transfer note are present.
  • After the assets have been through processing and data erasure, Re-certify will return the final asset report detailing the condition of the equipment, inline to Re-certify Ltd.’s grading guide this will include the final rebate offer.
  • Once the final rebate offer is accepted, Re-certify Ltd issue a purchase order.
  • The customer provides an Invoice, and the payment is made by Re-certify Ltd in line with our standard T&Cs.
  • Re-certify Ltd will then send data erasure certificates to show that the assets HDDs or SSDs have been wiped or shredded. (This can be up to 15 working days after the rebate offer) (Process may vary dependant on global location)
